I live in Huntington, IN. I Work for GM. I'm off
now because of fight with Lymphoma cancer. I'm doing pretty good between
chemo's. I have a few big trucks and 2 MM
tractors after having sold most of my trucks or projects.
My 1969 GMC tilt-cab 4000 was a fire truck, is
red, and has low mileage. It has no bed at this time. It has a DH478 Toro-flow
Diesel engine, made much like the GMC V-6
engines of the 60's. Has a 5spd New Process trans, single speed rear, Dayton
wheels. Engine is running fine, most things work, need to work on brakes now.
Have a 62 Chevy 70 tilt cab for parts only, hope
to make bed fit my GMC truck. It's pretty rough, no title, and engine goes
back to former owner. Was a 348 once, now a 409 engine in it. Power steering I
might try to use on my GMC!
Also driving my 94 GMC/Isuzu flat bed tilt-cab.
Built the bed two summers ago, and ramps are also the sides to bed. This truck
has a 350 Chevy and 4L80E OD trans, just like the pick-ups had. I love how it
handles, and is easier to drive than my new Chevy truck! I haul lots of
junk and parts, a few tractors and one car is all I've had on it.
Have a 66 Jet Star 3 Minneapolis-Moline tractor,
all restored, and a Model R MM that I am working on, about a 49.
